John’s Announcement

IRONDEQUOIT, NEW YORK - May 28th, 2025: I was first elected to the Irondequoit Town Board in 2007. With my background in construction management and my service on the town planning board, I wanted to ensure responsible development−and, in the process, make this a community in which both families and businesses can thrive. We made a lot of progress over the years, but our work is not done. And that is why I'm announcing my candidacy for Irondequoit Town Supervisor.

Over the last 18 years, we've improved the 590 extension to Seabreeze, re-purposed the former Irondequoit Mall, and built a state-of-the-art library that is the envy of the county. The library was a personal priority for me. I advocated for the library and was part of the planning team. I then used by years of experience working in the construction trades to see the project to completion. And I'm proud to say the library was built on time and under budget.

I get things done for two reasons: I have the right experience, and I work with others, no matter their political background. And that's because the people of Irondequoit come first.

Moving forward, my campaign will prioritize open communication with residents, fiscal responsibility, and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for all.

You know me from my work on the town board. You know me from my work on the planning board. And many of you know me from my many years in the construction trades. With me, you get no surprises.

It's no secret, the town has gone through a challenging and painful period this past year. The worst is behind us. Now, more than ever, we need a town supervisor with the experience and integrity that's needed to provide a stable government that serves all the people of Irondequoit. I will be that supervisor.
